Comments (88)roo, I'm so happy for Miss 6! That's the thing about kids, we worry like mad and they heal so quickly. She'll be the best in her gymnastics class, you'll see. I will have to pass on that walking bridge, or you go first, ok? judy! A mosquito! Too funny. How did you presentation go? Did they LOVE the wallpaper? MP, great job on the midget's walls! Who cut all the wood? It does look really good, has boo mappin seen it yet? I'll bet she loves it. Olldtrazz, sorry, I know nothing about sisal rugs. But I know about flokati rugs and I want one! I can't imagine how one would vacuum a flokati and I do know the dog would eat it so I don't think they're practical....See MoreThis unorganised male needs your help!
Comments (39)Now you have posted this picture with an unmade bed and clothes all over it for us to see - note future girlfriend may be a houzzer. Number 1 make bed and put away clothes before guests arrive or you take and post photos as all the paintings and new doona covers in the world won't make up for this. After this consider all the great suggestions above. Note to self - make your own bed more often please rather than advising others to do same....See MoreBigger shower or bigger vanity - Help!
Comments (27)Having helped my mother in law with her shower room (she has MS) and helping a friend who just broke her leg ... the bigger shower is a great decision, but I wouldn't build in a bench. down the track if she needs to sit to shower, she will probably need a shower chair with arms to lower herself up and down and to be able to move it around if someone is helping her shower. then anyone else showering can just take it out and enjoy the bigger shower!...See MoreWhere should we put the toilet in this small bathroom?
Comments (65)Hi AndrewJason, I love cavity sliders. they are there when you want them but not visible when you need the space open. Having said that they cost more, take a bit of wreckage to set up and in you WA case you will be wrecking brick walls to put them in which might be a stretch of mess too far. BUT you will need to weigh up if they are worth it in the end. I do not think the build will be too bulky in the kitchen/dining because it will be superbly practical on both sides and it maybe just a matter of what you are used to. Not sure about "Average Joe...…" we are all good at somethings, mine is plans, function, practicality, solar. Yours might be brain surgery, empathy for unwell folks, kinda or you make the best seafood lasagne in the world... we are all needed to make for a great world: and it really is that!!! Good luck with your splendid home: I think it is beautiful. And PS if you do make the best seafood anything I better have your address....!!!!!!! MK...See MoreBarry Higgs
