Gas or Induction? Or both?

I'm looking to rent a new apartment / house and keep noticing that most kitchens feature induction cooktops. I've always preferred gas, but when I read this excellent summary of the gas versus induction debate (Induction or Gas Cooking? Let's Compare the Two), I decided to stop avoiding induction kitchens.

Is it possible to have the best of both worlds? A colleague suggested single or double gas burners, like this single [wok cooker[(https://www.houzz.com.au/products/wok-cooker-single-burner-prvw-vr~29535352):

But are there any other options for freestanding (in the absence of a connection line) gas burners or cooktops? Any barbecues with gas burner add-ons or cooktops that can be attached to independent cylinders?

Since I can't make any structural changes to the rental's kitchen, ideas that don't need any bench renovations would be great!
