Induction advice

I just installed a Bosch induction in my new kitchen and I love it! However, bought new cookware specifically for induction at quite an expense and the induction cooktop scratched on the very first go! The Baccarat frypans were the culprits even though they are made for induction. The scanpans seem fine. I've resorted to putting squares of baking paper under the pots to cook but this is not ideal as it's expensive and doesn't look attractive. Is it normal to scratch the surface like this? I have complained to House where I bought the pans but perhaps this is normal. I hate to think it will get more scratched even though I'm a careful cook. Any advice/ideas?
