Sounds like you have plenty of green so I'd start looking at something in the peach to coral range, as a complement to your greens. Or look at rugs that have both green and peach. Another direction would be a rug with greens and blues, shown in the third rug below. It's fast becoming my favorite of the trio. Try a mid-century modern rug like Hemphill's Rex Ray Area Rug Collection or Jaipur Traverse Caracas. I looked up 'mid-century modern rug' and chanced upon these on Houzz. I like the muted colours which would soften the cream on brown. The mid-century motifs would highlight the mid-century chair. Good luck!

Hi bga14 The rug will create a zone for the area - important in an open plan area. Contrasting with the dark floor and a texture which also adds softness to the tile surface would be a great choice. Here is a couple of examples from my recent projects - one with a dark couch and one with a light couch so you can get an idea of the contrast needed between floors and furniture mix. Note the dark coffee table in the bottom pic which ties it all together. Top pic is a textured wool rug that was custom sized to fit the space. Hope these tips help.
