I assume you just want some quick and inexpensive fixes. I'd remove the sofa and chairs, and put in a smaller sofa. I'd move the desk more to the centre of its wall to make the room feel more spacious. I'd replace the small prints with something a bit splashier (maybe an inexpensive poster with some bright colours). Although the wall colour is a bit drab, Im not sure repainting would be cost effectve.

I'm assuming yourrecliners are grey? what about some orange cushions

The room is your theatre room, but not necessarily the buyer's. How you use it, with comfy seating and dark walls, isn't necessarily the way they'll use it. Making it more multifunctional opens up more possibilities for the prospective buyer.

Perhaps some white or off white cushions and some teal blue ones. If you're taking out the recliners, you could put in a small table and a lamp that is in accent colour you choose.

Hi there. If your focus is on selling the home, you need to remove some of the furniture in this room. I would start by removing the desk. The armchairs should be placed apart from the lounge - probably where the desk is currently for one and the other on the other side of the TV (if there is room - it is hard to tell from the photos). This will give the room a more inviting feel. I would put a natural fibre cream floor rug under the lounge and across to the TV cabinet. Remove all of the small frames on the wall and opt for a large artwork on that wall - I would probably go for blues - navy through to demin through to duck egg for the artwork and accessories (cushions etc). I agree with everyone suggesting to get rid of the desk and either the couch or recliners. With more space, perhaps adding a bright pouf or beanbag could add some brightness and still keep the theatre room vibe. Good luck! A few small changes should have a big impact.
