Haven't used any of these, depends what colour floor you are aiming for, I used a white wash finish on a laminated timber bench top to work with white laundry cabinets, I like it but it has taken on a slightly pinkish tint, I was told that it's not the timber that discolours but the sealant that is used, perhaps adding a darker stain might work. Do you have any places you could try and leave it for a a month or so to see what happens

We have floating floors running partway underneath the kitchen cabinets. You can build the kitchen, leave kickers off and run the flooring underneath then add the kickers. This results in a neat finish with no quad required to cover the gap. From experience this gets dirt in the joins very quickly requiring a toothbrush and scrubbing on hands and knees to clean.
