Need help chosing kitchen cabinet colours that will go with Jarrah
Comments (6)It depends on the look you're trying to achieve. For a contemporary and streamline look, I would select Dulux natural white for the kitchen cabinetry. Or, if you want the kitchen to stand out, I would suggest to choose a contrasting colour with the walls. A great way is to select your material and colours would be to take your stone and wall colour sample into a paint trade centre or hardware store where you can put them against possible options. Another way, is to have the stone, natural white paint colour in your hands, put them alongside the Jarrah floor and possible options. I'm not familiar with your style, existing furniture or personality so I'm taking a stab in the dark - but because your benchtop material looks like a cool grey, I would suggest to also choose a cool grey (like Dulux Sky Painting) for your cabinetry. Best of luck!...See MoreKitchen Cabinet Colour Help?

Comments (1)Hi there. We are renovating at the moment and we started painting our timber windows outside. I thought picking white would be easy! I was so wrong. Anyway we did a window in lexicon and I was shocked - it has strong blue undertones and glared badly in the daylight. It was very cold. Went to bunnings and explained the issue and was recommended natural white. I was skeptical as it looked dirty. Anyway I did another window and it’s lovely. It’s a rich thick white without being yellow - I think they refer to it as having a neutral base. There’s no harsh glare - it’s perfect for our other color scheme. All I can say is paint a large section in both colors and look at it during different times of the day. Obviously other colors will play off the white etc. Good luck with it all....See MoreKitchen cabinet colour
Comments (9)The overall look reminds me of a technical hospital lab -- the whole row of sharp edged cupboard doors ! The black dishwasher , and then the white appliances , look out of place . And I'd like to see what the top part of the room looks like too , as that would influence things possibly too . The upper cupboards look to have a pink hue too , I'm not sure if that is paint or just reflections of a sunset ? And guess what -- it needs colour IMO ! So how about getting all colourful appliances -- a jug , toaster , cake mixer . All in citrus green or candy apple red . And possibly paint that panel that 'juts in a bit' up by the windows in the same colour . And change to a white dishwasher . And I actually think nice stained wooden doors would add warmth , maybe even just the 'higher' cupboards -- there is TOO much white . So no two tone there -- you'd have at least 3 -- white , then timber , then your green or red or orange or yellow ....See More- 9 years ago
