Anyone have any experience storing a whole house (ARGHHH!) whilst undergoing renovations or a house build?
I'm looking into whole shipping containers and my concern or query is
1) expensive electrical and wooden furniture items becoming damaged by moisture or mildew
2) my extensive and treasured crockery and kitchenware being damaged by rough handling (as its a big shipping container)
3) storing my also huge manchester and sewing fabric collection becoming damaged by moisture and mildew
Any feedback would be appreciated. Obviously careful packaging of breakables can help minimise damage. I guess I'm wondering if there is any increased risk of damage by package all these items of various materials together.
The length of time is likely a year and will likely be transporting all furniture interstate at end of year.
Thanks
