Comments (5)I agree, a unified floor will help with the feeling of a bigger, uninterrupted floor. I think the white on walls is fine, although I also think a soft but warmer tone might be suitable so the ambience is still warm and inviting. I can see an angled wall that appears lighter than the left of kitchen, I would hang a large mirror on this wall, to create a false room beyond, the angle will help reinforce this idea, and is a nice touch to a dining area, however informal. I would also take your lounge and try to position it facing your window. I assumes there's one in the far end we cannot see, the sofa could be away from the island back creating a walkway, and consider relocating your sideboard below it elsewhere. I can imagine it even along the back of the sofa as a console table, a lamp on top would create the perfect scenario for night reading and ambient light....See MoreTiny Old Bedroom in Need of New Life
Comments (3)hi there without knowing the measurements, you have a lot of small peices of furniture and other so I would start with reducing this Move the wardrobe over the where the dressing table is, place dressing table under the window and perhaps a narrow lot of shelves beside it running up to the door, and behind if deep enough, it's a bit hard to see from the photos, I would make the shelves a tall unit. I can se that you might have to get someone to run a power supply across under the window, for your hairdryer. A lamp would be nice floor or wall mounted for reading and a night light. and change the curtain for a blind cheers...See MoreApartment bedroom

Comments (2)what is the ground/floor made out of, what's the height of the whole space. is the ceiling (bottom of the upstairs framing and floor) the same height throughout the whole space, are the stairs inside or outside and do you need internal stairs from the new rooms to upstairs or a separate external entry, where is the street frontage, is there access around both sides of the house and is the view at the back or front of the house etc?...we can make suggestions for possible floorplans but you may need Council approval to enclose the space under the house for liveable rooms so suggest you first consult them to make sure that what you want to do is legal and possible but there are many questions to be answered and best answered with an on site inspection by a professional before you can make any serious plans but doodling with the space shows that there's plenty of room for quite spacious self contained accommodation...See MoreJ
