Kitchen wall knock through including chimney

I'm considering knocking through the wall in my kitchen so I open it up to our second living area only issue is that it used to be the rear wall of the house and has a chimney from the original fireplace. There is already an opening where I assume a window was and I'd like to run it all the way across to the pantry side wall (far right on pics). I'd probably include a walkthrough where the microwave is situated (also on right of pic).
Would the fact the chimney is there add a major expense to achieving this? General thoughts.
