Please help turn our hideous rockpiles into a functional garden!
Comments (106)Miranda You appear to be making all the right choices in life. I will be a little bit presumptuous by offering some advice on helping you to raise your child in touch with nature in this age full of all the electronic lures that keep the kids indoors. or, when outdoors, glued to a small screen, rather than the glory that surrounds them. I am writing a book about landscape architecture and have a section regarding the importance of embracing nature in the preschool years. - which I would like to forward that section to you. However, my computer skills are limited to email and US Mail. I don't even know how to attach a picture to the text. If you would like to receive this draft from my future book, send me your email or postal address, and I'll get it right off to you. My email is cascio.offsite@gmail.com Good luck with your new challenges and opportunities. Joe Cascio...See MoreGIVEAWAY: How would you like to spoil mum this Mother's Day?
Comments (31)I picked tidy & organise the home, due to the fact we rent & would love useful information & photos of how to store things with limited space & making it feel more like a home without breaking the budget, would love to win the beautiful book for a dear friend who has had a rough couple of years & I know enjoys cooking, she deserves to be on the receiving end of something nice...See MoreHouzz mums, what are you (secretly) sick of receiving on Mother’s Day?
Comments (123)There is no gift I’m secretly sick of getting. I am happy to receive anything coming my way. Although the year of the ironing board was a tense one between my husband and I, and one that was never to be repeated!...See MorePOLL: What home design trend are you happy to see the back of?
Comments (55)Some great comments and thoughts from you all. Trends are a consumer marketing tool to encourage you to continually spend and buy their products... A home should be a living curation of things you love that work for you and nobody else. Yes there are some design principles you can follow but these are a guide and should be considered along with the space, it's purpose, the light, the people and much more. Instead of buying more, consider what you have and carefully select things to complement them - update by changing things around and making sure YOU love the style and it suits the way YOU live!...See Morelauriehorsey
