Hi Sarah Smith, I had a look on the Bunnings site and I thought this tap would look great with your sink. It has the retractable component you're looking for and I thought had the same sort of style but not knowing what the rest of your kitchen looks like it's just a thought. I have a pull out tap for my kitchen sink and I find it really handy. In regards to retractable taps having to be replaced this is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for". Buy the one that will get the most use.

i guess the problem is about the number of tap holes in the sink or wall but swopping tap sets with two or three holes for a mixer tap is a job for a plumber as the separate hot and cold water needs to be fed into one outlet to suit the new mixer

take several photos including any writing to a plumbing supply specialist and ask if they can help (Tradelink, Reece etc)
