need advice in decorating new living room
Comments (12)Hi Fabulous Pink, Your pendants shown here are quite formal, so with that in mind, I would actually go for the more formal 'first' floor lamp pictured. The blue and grey cushions you previously posted are also more informal in colour and image, (especially the 'coral' shapes) so do not immediately tie together with the pendant selected here. That doesn't mean you can't introduce some blue into the room. Just consider the 'theme': is it formal, casual, classic, modern, eclectic, etc....and stick to that. It can be a bit formulaic, but if you haven't any experience, it is a more fool-proof way and you will most definitely develop ideas as you go, as Susan suggested, but you don't want to make costly mistakes or end up getting totally lost or bamboozled. Re the scatter cushions above, I like the texture of the first two but you will also need to add a solid colour (maybe this is where the blue comes in - perhaps in velvet, so it adds a softness as well as texture) and a throw rug in similar tones....See MoreNeed help with new mirror/ decorating advice
Comments (19)This mirror would look great, a bit pricey though. Something like this on the console either in black or copper. Could even stand it on a book for extra height. Maybe a bowl on the otherside of the console or some other ornament. A woven basket with a cushion and throw to add some color. or a metal open type basket for more industrial. A pendant light would work well too...See Morecould anyone please give me some tips on decorating this house?
Comments (4)So much potential here. Start by buying an interiors magazine eg "inside out". Choose something in a slick modern style in colours you like. Now find a similar colour palette already put together... If you are new to decorating, grab an interiors paint decorating catalogue from bunnings and choose a colour scheme out of it that more or less matches the inpiration magazine pics. Now collect samples of bench tops from kaboodle in bunnings... again use your magazine inspo as a guide for something similar. You can paint the cabinetry with white knight paints..see cherie barber youtube clip on how to. Update tapware to modern black. Curtains ..for starters..try to get off the rack s old sheers from freedom. Black or white or neutral ....See MoreNew Upcoming Home Decor Store (Online)
Comments (2)Your products look good but to be honest they look like you ripped them directly off alibaba. And I found a couple of the items your selling on there too at half the price. The delivery times (10 - 30 days) you have stated are the standard time frames as most things you get from china. The product range is more of a topsellers of the week from google or amazon. The website itself is very clean and easy to navigate, the discriptions on your items are lacking and use unneccessary reviews that sound generically fake with no measurements, weight. I do like how clean and uncluttered it looks....See Moregroveraxle
