@siriuskey not related to this thread per se but I believe all cabinetry with the exception of timber comes with white laminate inside (unless you order custom and pay for the inside to be painted). We just had black cabinetry installed in our lounge and the back of the doors are white. I was shocked so contacted everyone I know with new kitchens in dark colours and they ALL had polyurethane cabinets with white laminate on the back of dark/coloured doors.

Just me -- that's a No ! As it is shown there , its too much , too tacky . On an island , if it was maybe the 'front' it could be okay , or something like a built-in cutting board might look cool ( as it is presumably a manufactured stone , I have no idea how it would be practical-wise ? ) . That whole kitchen doesn't inspire me much -- its too mixed up IMO . Mostly black and white , but with stainless , some timber which is the wrong tone , again IMO -- not consistent .

Absolutely beautiful room, I would keep the furniture low backed so as not to overwhelm the space and to take advantage of the fabulous views, large rug, a nest of coffee tables, or timber to pick up timber in island, that Castlery sofa is stunning, don’t overcrowd it for maximum effect. Gorgeous.

They were great ideas. If I planned a window of that type it would be for that purpose. But real plants absolutely need maintenance. Climbers trained to shapes need frequent pruning. Climbers allowed to grow naturally need less, but still regularly to avoid problems. Some climbers are worse than others for that so it needs to be a carfeul choice not simply what looks nice. Another idea is some kind of garden wall or hanging pots, but that needs maintenance and more careful watering than plants growing in the ground. Then there's shrubs, but there's a limited range of plants that are much taller than they are wide, and that is further limited by the required growing conditions. For example you don't want to invest in a row of something nice only to have the one on the end constantly wilting because it can't take the full sun or the wind. How wide is the space, and do you have a path along there that needs to be comfortably accessible? You probably don't want too much foliage right up to the window because then it will block the light that the window provides to the room. You could maybe achieve a similar look with fake plants, but they can look fake especially in strong light. It could work if in shade, but if there is sun exposure it really shows up the plasticness and makes it deteriorate quicker too, and then it's off to landfill. For the maintenance that you can manage, some nice screens will work, such as the corten ones in Julie Herbert's pics. Or do something with the glass.
