Lovely print. I had a peacock feather print and I had a colour called glacier Grey behind. Think it was Wattyl . Again like your other walls it is a greenish grey but darker. I also had my prints on a charcoal wall..loved that too. As you said the picture ties in with the chairs and now it's not necessary to add more matching colours. I'd buy a couple of sample pots and paint large pieces of cardboard. With the other walls I would consider painting them in whisper white (Dulux) a very universal colour that ties in nicely with all colours.

Hi M Tranter, we just finished our Blue Ivy house in Malvern, although more contemporary in style, we went bold with the blue in a very similar shade to yours! We actually fine-tuned the shade on site, as the blues will appear different depending on orientation and light. We never worry about 'trends' but choose material and colour palettes to suit each client, and the bold colours always balance out with the other elements in the space. Good Luck (and go for it!).

Thanks Kate and oklouise. Yes using the Music Room as an ensuite was suggested by a builder last year as it's so close to all the plumbing and would be a piece of cake, however as it's opposite the bathroom it seemed a bit silly. The master bedroom has two windows and is a lovely room, it's just a bit of a hike in the night down to the loo... oklouise, I like your idea as it still keeps the second bedroom, albeit a lot smaller, but it could be used as a guest room as it's nice and quiet. I did wonder about the tiny-smallness of an ensuite where I was originally suggesting. We have lots of freestanding wardrobes now as it is so it should all work. They are very nice. Where did you see/find these photos originally? Can you contact the person who posted these photos and ask them where they got these tables from? Otherwise I suggest doing a Google search for small round tables and see what appears. You could be lucky and find them online as you search through furniture web sites. Good luck :)
