Undecided on a splashback

I have a gloss white galley kitchen with good light, stainless steel appliances, integrated dishwasher and Essastone white quartz bench tops.

The flooring is a Beaumont porcelain tile which is textured whitish grey.

At the moment it looks bright, white, clean and clinical.

As I live by the ocean I went for a classic contemporary coastal theme without the lighthouse and fish statues.

Do I stick to tiles in white or glass?

Go grey for a wintery sea look such as a smoked mirror splashback? I worry that they are hard to keep clean.

or go for tiles that reflect my location... sea glass greens, blues but subtle?

Mosaics, subway or large format? The area is approx 2m wide.

Any advice from Houzzers appreciated.
