Kitchen splashback - help needed please!
Comments (24)Netty, firstly thank you for posting your question because we are stuck on splashback ideas also and the only difference between our kitchens is that you have opted for gloss on your cupboards and we have gone satin. We are currently waiting on our shi*take bench tops to be installed.... hopefully within the next week. After much googling, hubby has decided that he likes the glass bullet style in a neutral tone (much like the tile you have gone with but in glass obviously) and I am liking the bullet style tile also, just not sure whether glass or a mix of stone, glass etc would work. At least I know we are on the right track now, so thanks again! Can't wait to see a photo when your done (hint hint ;-) )...See MoreNeed help with kitchen splashback
Comments (10)Personally I am quite fickle and get bored easily so a colour splash wouldn't work as they are costly to change... If your wife isn't annoying like me that's fine... If she is maybe a more neutral colour (silver) stainless or even the mirror splash with navy accessories that can always be changed easily .....See MoreSplashback - I need help PLEASE!!!
Comments (24)We had a white kitchen (I know it's not white in the photo- that's another polytec story that ended up in a warranty claim replacement kitchen- hence the change in colour now) and I decided to go with mirror tiles though grout always an issue however so unnoticeable with the mirrored tiles easy to clean too. Each tile is a different mirror effect so doesn't show any grease spots at all. I love my choice- a little pricier but worth it I say!...See MoreNeed help for cooker splashback area
Comments (11)Louise, your dilemma is one that pops up every other week: White kitchen. Stainless steel appliances. Seeking attractive, elegant and refined darker splashback that is good with kids. Willing to commit to relationship so should age well. Nothing too bold - something mama can adore too. If you live in Melbourne, visit the Urban Edge Ceramics store. It's more art gallery than showroom. Look at the Mutina line. Pictures can't do the gorgeous textures or it's subtlety and colors any justice. Be swept off your feet and overwhelmed with desire by your cooktop or kitchen sink......See Morelomboshouse
