Comments (24)Netty, firstly thank you for posting your question because we are stuck on splashback ideas also and the only difference between our kitchens is that you have opted for gloss on your cupboards and we have gone satin. We are currently waiting on our shi*take bench tops to be installed.... hopefully within the next week. After much googling, hubby has decided that he likes the glass bullet style in a neutral tone (much like the tile you have gone with but in glass obviously) and I am liking the bullet style tile also, just not sure whether glass or a mix of stone, glass etc would work. Comments (6)Hi Tiah Perhaps this is an opportunity to look at your kitchen in a different way before you go though the complications of glass removal (although damaged plaster can be fixed). Concrete look tiles with those grey cabinet doors could end up looking quite dull. The reason the lime green was installed in the first place was probably to throw some life into a dark corner. If you were absolutely wanting to lose the green, consider getting a glazier to install a smoked mirror splash back - it will tie in with the existing cabinetry and also get some light reflections into the kitchen. But before I would do that I would play with the green - consider the opportunity to bring a more botanical look into the space. Jewel-like bottle greens in the form of potted plants and bright aqua accessories will counteract the "lime factor". top it off with some black stools and some bamboo accessories and the space could feel quite uplifting. Comments (1)Hi Emma, You can get the splashback tiles professionally sprayed, this will give a good quality finish and since it's only a small area it shouldn't be too costly. I'm sure there will be a number of company's in your area that will be able to come out and the work for you. Comments (35)i have not looked into the splashback pricing yet, as i am still stuck onto the colour fr the cabinets. we have to decide it tonight. I have been looking at warm whites, as suggested earlier in the thread. Antique white USA in 1/4 strength i think will go with the grey colored stone. I have read tht in full strength it throws cream tones. NOt sure if this colour scheme will work. i still have to decide the wall colours for the kitchen. We have finalised hog bristle1/4 for the living area with natural white for ceiling n trim....See More

7 years agoHi Monika, We have recently supplied and installed this colour splash back for our client which would work well in your kitchen as it will be timeless... please also look at our projects on glass walls and splash backs. Next week we will be installing antique mirror in a bathroom.
