Kitchen cabinet colour confusion - please help
Comments (5)If you have not already made this kitchen I would like to help, it lacks adequate storage for good pantry space. If you need a lot of fridge space I am not sure that is the best method as it takes up a lot of space. The idea of adding the bench for the kids is a good concept but the high back means the kids can't see you all the time and they will end up on your side of the bench so they can see you. Incorporating space for the kids at the end of the island bench would be more functional for both you in the kitchen and the kids would be able to see you move around and feel a part of things. Also how will they use this space kids don't just sit still they will want a bench or something they can use to draw do homework etc. Colour contract of light and dark always looks good. If you need help call I have a kitchen company called www.louisdivine.com.au. My kitchens are more traditional styles but I can do whatever is required and given the detail used in my kitchens my prices are competitive. P.S white bench tops are not hard to keep clean and they don't date, the nature of the stone itself is easy to clean....See MoreNeed help with kitchen cabinet colour
Comments (1)I love that look too - it's bright, clean and classic without being stark. Think about a warm white as it'll pick up warmth of Creme Brulee caesarstone. Perhaps look at Dulux Antique White. Remember too if there's a colour that matches your caesarstone and you like it you can do it in half or quarter strength so that it tones but isnt the same. If you can only get small paint chip samples grab a bunch of them and tape them together and put them in the space your cabinets will be with a sample of the caesarstone - paint colours change depending upon light. Good luck....See MoreKitchen cabinet colour help please
Comments (5)Love white cabinetry and would do bench top in white too. Think with the peachy cream floor and sandy beige walls, adding a 3rd colour might be too much. And if you make the cabinets and benchtop in similar shades to walls or floor, it might be beige overload! A white might lift it. Maybe post a pic of the floor so we can see how peachy or creamy it is....See MoreKitchen cabinet colour advice needed - old fuel stove
Comments (2)Thank you dreamer, the window is green glass. I was hoping to have a different colour for the lowers but I may have no choice. Was trying to make the kitchen a bit more like a living area with colour. The kitchen above is stunning!...See Moresm m
