@Neryl, you cracked me up when I read your post ha-ha @lakshmi17, All jokes aside, if you want to go to the trouble of having beautiful pendant lights and your ceiling is so high, get a professional!!! Save up if you have to but it's the best way to go in this case, you might be surprised that it's not as expensive as the cost of the lights you intend to have fitted. I paid over $130 for each of the three lights I have bought to have installed over my dining table and I'm darn sure my electrician won't be charging me $400 to install them!!!

So did I! At first I thought it was because I used an older packet. So I tried a brand new packet and they still fell off. It seems the tiles are too shiny for it to grip to. I'm very disappointed about this, I had such great plans. But I guess I will have to rearrange somethings and put the photos up on the wall near the kitchen. Thanks for the response!

Warm white, cool white, daylight have nothing to do with how bright a light and don't let anyone try and convince you otherwise. These names are given to the colour the globe emits. In the shots you have supplied you can see how blue the light is, this means it is a high kelvin rating. It looks to me to be 6000 k or up. 3000 k is perfect for nearly anything in a house, kitchen, living or bathroom. The important thing when talking about brightness is the lumen level, or output. In the kitchen look for around 900 and in a living area where you want more subtle lighting look for something closer to 400 lumen. Dimmers then change the output but not the colour, this is how you change a mood in a room.
