Vinyl wrap has come a long way in last few years and is a great product for the right application. Gallifrey is right in regards to the heat so depending on your plan you can install abs edged panels near the heating items. All products have pros and cons. 2 PAC paint, best look with huge colour range but can be expensive and can chip. Abs edged, strong, good colour range but in the lighter colours you can get the thin dirt line around edge and can look a bit cheap. Vinyl can look great but can fade and discolour, also cheaper though ( personally I really dislike vinyl on routered insets but I hate routered insets on any cupboard). Saw marks on edges can also show if the cabbie hasn't sanded before wrapping.
