Place white porcelain tiles inside.....and a metre outside of the new room I would lay cream rectangle pavers and it will look amazing Get rid of all the trees and just grass and place small hedges around the fence and on one side of the new room I will put a decking the same colour as the bi fold timber trimming in oak will be awesome

Your kitchen sounds lovely. BUt the location does sounds pretty risky to me. But without knowing the rest of the house plans, or the size of it, I dont want to say you're doing the wrong thing.IN some ways, you are close to answering the door, if you spend much time in the kitchen (like I do) but as that anyone coming in will distract you and possibly get in the way. Removing the walls as you've suggested should be ok as long as you check will an engineer first. They may be load bearing. This isn't a major issue to remove them as builders do this type of work regularly but definitely seek professional structural engineering advice first. Privacy to entry will be affected but not too bad. I'd do a furniture layout first and foremost to see if it the rooms will work being so open plan (i.e. noisy perhaps, where to put lounges and dining tables, etc.). People like open plan to look at but they are noisy in many cases as even talking noise travels. Even worse if you have children playing on one side of the area and you're trying to have a conversation with others in another area.

I would relocate door and entry to be beside bedroom wall and maybe add a wall to define the spaces. The 'new' entry area could be made into a nice area without being too big. It could be 1200 wide and 1560 long, just enough to circulate guests into the house without walking directly into the middle of room. Certainly not a cheap or easy option but it would be the best outcome overall. It will completely change the dynamics of the whole area! I don't think that any furniture layout will be a clear winner as they'll always be a compromise, even though the options as shown above are very very good.
