You may then also like to consider your selections in relation to your budget as this will help to narrow down / or widen your options. You are probably in a different state to us, but none the less; specific to your question, you may find our web site helpful. Being asked this all the time, we decided to put together a series of dedicated pages for anyone planning a Kitchen, with information regarding the properties of all the different types of materials that one could use for benchtops, doors and splashbacks. This initial page has 16 different links to information about different types of materials that you may find helpful. Once you have an idea about the type of materials you wish to use, you may then also like to go to our Suppliers page where again we have put together links to these material manufacturers where you can then review the various different colour ranges on offer. We also have a page about the use of colour, but don't be afraid to go with what you like, and Houzz here is a fantastic resource for inspiration. I hope this information is of help to you.
