Kitchen Mixer Tap
Comments (6)Hi Sarah Smith, I had a look on the Bunnings site and I thought this tap would look great with your sink. It has the retractable component you're looking for and I thought had the same sort of style but not knowing what the rest of your kitchen looks like it's just a thought. I have a pull out tap for my kitchen sink and I find it really handy. In regards to retractable taps having to be replaced this is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for". I'd love to see what you choose in the end and a pic of the whole space when it's done. http://www.bunnings.com.au/dorf-wels-4-star-7-5l-min-krysten-chrome-pull-out-sink-mixer_p5000823#.VTgr6op6imo.mailto...See MoreWhich ZIP tap is nicer looking in a modern kitchen
Comments (10)The one on the right is the same as the one @ work. Looks to standard/industry & stands out. I think the one on the left would blend with your kitchen better so as not to take your eye away from your other kitchen features. I am not a fan of taps being a standout....See MoreDoes anyone have a requirements list/tender document they could share?
Comments (7)By finer details, do you mean the aesthetic finishing of rooms eg: skirting board profile, cornice profile, window profile. You have said this is a renovation, with stated only aesthetic changes, not structural. So make a listing of your requirements, then drill that list down. Start from the floor in each room, what type of floor needs installing, what profile skirtings etc etc. what wall finish are you after, what ceiling needs to redone, what cornice profile, what electrical power points need to be installed or removed? Then start on the kitchen, what type of floor is being installed, does the existing flooring need removal? What profile kitchen, what spec of finish for cupboards and bench tops....laminate or stone? What appliances are required, existing or new?? Once you have this list with all your requirements for EACH room, then go to your chosen builders and SPEAK to them so they can cost the work that is required. If you know the level of specification you are after, the builder may have different choices to stay within your budget. Are there special aesthetics you would like included in this renovation...include those in your overview of each room. When you are presented with a contract from your chosen builder, make sure the details are as per your WRITTEN requests....See MoreI have a small home & need a new kitchen. Comments (39)my suggestion would be to use the old study area for the Euro laundry to create a more generous kitchen with big island including storage and comfortable seating...as it appears that the sliding door is too close to the corner and door to bed 4 doorway for built in cabinets consider a free standing (probably cheaper than custom built ins) dresser for extra storage and sliding doors and windows are cheaper and easier to flyscreen than concertina or bifolds and lose the old laundry door and convert any laundry window and/or the old doorway into a splashback window to retain more counter and wall space for cabinets...and maybe consider converting whole garage to a new master suite with extra bathroom and/or combined separate laundry and leave the cars outdoors instead of the Euro laundry...See More- 9 years ago
