Kitchens are the heart of s home. You need breakfast stools at your bench so people can chat to you whilst prepping/cooking. Or kids helping or eating brekkie. tables are lower so don’t work as well. It’s not about the view for these purposes. 4 stools at least with backs hopefully and allow them to tuck under bench top to clear circulation to sliders. I would keep all within current footprint. Island: min 900 (at ends) & 1200 from other benches. If u go too wide it makes it more difficult to work. Too many steps. I can stand next to my dishwasher and unload into drawers opposte without moving with 1200. And can work on island whilst someone at sink behind Up to 1500 from sliders if having stools there. Thanks Megha, has the kitchen been designed yet? What is the style of kitchen? Is there a picture to show the kitchen style? I think most of the designers will consider to design the tv wall and bar that match the style of kitchen, because they are in the same room, same design will keep the whole space look uniform. You have a lovely TV wall.

Hi I have a large bathroom with a closet for washer and dryer. I love it. Off my bedroom. But also have you thought about making study into bedroom with an en-suite and the laundry tucked in there behind doors. If your selling a bedroom downstairs for an older person its very attractive and nice to be separate from the others. Then the two bedrooms upstairs have there own bathroom. Also you are having toilet tucked under staircase for visitors. If you had heaps of space then yes have a separate laundry but it’s a waste of space when you haven’t. I have my laundry essentials in a cupboard under my bathroom vanity which is 1800 cm long and still have two 1m drawers next to cupboard.

The colours , design and overall execution are really good , and better tghan most 'professionals' who post on here , but again thats a matter of taste ( and to be fair , I'm sure a lot would rubbish my amateur efforts ) . An intelligent use of the existing brick , render , and modern lines and design . A bit too much grey in the kitchen for my taste , but definitely livable ! Three of my pet peeves though -- before photos with no lighting , after with every light on . -- messy before photos , prestine after ones . -- no colour or even owners personality yet showing . There is a cool apricotty orange chair in one of the pictures , and and orange jug in the kitchen , and see how much better those rooms look for it ? I know everyone is different , but personally , I think the primary tones suit orange accents , and I imagine the Wow that would be added with those bar stools in orange instead of white , and then do 3 of the dining chairs in the white , and 3 in a light orange ( or if that is considered too much , go white chairs with light orange cushions that can be removed if you don't like 'em ) -- a bit unexpected , but no too over the top IMO , and all ties in with the brick , the white , the charcoal , the grey , the timber .
