Comments (13)Erin I like the rug but how about trying the size smaller if that's possible? The sofa should ideally sit with front feet just on the rug. Then pull the ottoman out more and add a colourful chair on opposite corner ( of the triangle). A tray on the ottoman with some books, flowers and maybe beeswax candles? Comments (14)I don't know about it , can you change it, you can have modern and different but I think your tv unit is mid century style and table is Well I don't know what style it is than you say you want tribal . As someone suggested earlier , stop shopping before you move in it might be all wrong and your taste and ideas might change by then. Comments (13)Agree with above comments - large rug, darker colours to balance the beige. And I also think the art work is too small and too high. However if you are attached to these pieces they could be hung together on one wall, lower, maybe re-framed in similar frames to give them cohesion (black to match your new cushions?).
