Ideally you want no joins, but the benifits of that colour is you can get adhesives that match it perfectly, plus if you make sure the join is tucked away in the lease traveled area like far back corner it will be less noticed. Other materials you can check up on is Polished Metals like Stainless or aluminum that can then get powder coated / Painted to a colour of your liking although at a $$$, or if you are more daring even Copper

Is the kitchen part of an open plan to dining and living room? Is this your forever house? Is the photo above your kitchen or an idea of something you quite like? Do you have a floor plan?

We had a guy who printed posters print the photo and stick it on the glass for us (to make sure there were no air bubbles). He delivered it to the glazier who was installing the splashback. There was so much interest as it sat in the showroom, the glazier then started offering glass with pictures actually printed onto them... If your wall was smooth, you could put the 'poster' print onto ther wall as another option.

i have not looked into the splashback pricing yet, as i am still stuck onto the colour fr the cabinets. we have to decide it tonight. I have been looking at warm whites, as suggested earlier in the thread. Antique white USA in 1/4 strength i think will go with the grey colored stone. I have read tht in full strength it throws cream tones. NOt sure if this colour scheme will work. i still have to decide the wall colours for the kitchen. We have finalised hog bristle1/4 for the living area with natural white for ceiling n trim.
