I like the longer ones best. If tiles are your preferred choice, I think a white tile that has a nice polished texture look, looks great in a kitchen. With great lighting, the light bounce's of the angles and the stainless steel appliances at night and gives a bit of bling and expense.

Hi mluh You've obviously done your research on these products, so it's most likely going to come down to personal preference. As you've mentioned, a natural stone is going to come with an amount of maintenance but the beauty of Travertine is within its variation. Once sealed with a good quality sealer (I recommend Guard Industry), the maintenance is really quite low and most spills are lost within those natural variations. 99% of spills can be cleaned up without too much trouble. Porcelain, on the other hand, can be quite difficult to clean once it's been marked. That said, the external porcelains have a great non-slip texture and are very hardy when used as paving/tiles. I'm personally not a fan of using them as pool coping, but many people love it. Again, both have their advantages and disadvantages so I would recommend using the product that you're happy looking at for the next 10-20 years. - Jordan

If you do use it, it causes burns nd matt spots on the stone surface. It is much better to use mild cleaners and soaps, or care and cleaning products tailored to natural stone. Maintaining and cleaning travertine is not difficult special tips from ourground and property maintenance specialists in natural stone floor care. Use a layer of wax build-up to protect the natural stone. When cleaning the travertine for the first time after grouting and laying, it is better not to use cement film remover. Instead, work with a basic cleaning that removes the stain and another soiling effectively and gently. As already mentioned, the basic cleaner can also be used wonderfully for everyday care.
