you don't have to use a curved shower curtain , you can hang a rectangle either flush on the ceiling or drop it down to the level that suits, you would need to have a support rod from the ceiling to the shower track at the junction of the long and short return, ceiling mounted shower curtain would look beautiful for your claw foot bath cheers
Thanks! I have a high ceiling & sourcing a longer shower curtain might be hard if I had it flush to the ceiling. Would prefer to find an oval curtain rail to keep all water off the floor.
any photos of the bath and bathroom, you can suspend the shower rail down from the ceiling, we did this years ago with our claw foot bath, we made a cedar rectangle frame and ran the track around inside it an oval shape so the curtain could be pulled around . Sorry can't find photos but the timber was approx 120m x 20, you can also have a longer curtain made or join two together, simple to do, the following bath room is using a small timber batten for the shower
