I would paint all the brick everywhere warm white...satin for occasional cleaning. That done I think everything else will look OK because the colours are natural. New doorknobs are always good. You could if you wanted paint all the bench and cupboards white or rich cream as well....MUCH more spacious effect. there is a product you put on first and wait and paint...Hardware will knw...something like PSo

What colour polytec goes the best with essastone chalkstone? Classic white or polar white. Need for laundry.The floor is a mid grey. Tiny laundry, the entry door and trim is lexicon half. Not sure if this comes into account. Just next to the laundry is the bathroom which will be having cool white wall tiles, with the same grey floor tiles. Thank you:)

The overall look reminds me of a technical hospital lab -- the whole row of sharp edged cupboard doors ! The black dishwasher , and then the white appliances , look out of place . And I'd like to see what the top part of the room looks like too , as that would influence things possibly too . The upper cupboards look to have a pink hue too , I'm not sure if that is paint or just reflections of a sunset ? And guess what -- it needs colour IMO ! So how about getting all colourful appliances -- a jug , toaster , cake mixer . All in citrus green or candy apple red . And possibly paint that panel that 'juts in a bit' up by the windows in the same colour . And change to a white dishwasher . And I actually think nice stained wooden doors would add warmth , maybe even just the 'higher' cupboards -- there is TOO much white . So no two tone there -- you'd have at least 3 -- white , then timber , then your green or red or orange or yellow .

@Kate Exactly, this is the one. @ausjoinery Yep, we have kids at home. Am not too fond of glossy finish due to finger print will be easily visible, but positive side of it is easy cleaning. @dreamer I was thinking about the darker cabinets too (Though am a white colour fan), awalnut brown or black or so on..
