the reno programs i've seen show a very unrealistic idea of how quick and easy it's supposed to be... your rooms are so generous that re-arranging the fridge, extra storage and seating at the kitchen bench is easy and i've attached an idea for a walk in pantry for your consideration?? BTW i meant the actual structure of the floor, concrete or timber framed in case you want to try the stove or sink away from the outside walls. I'm glad you like the ensuite and wiw and happy to attempt any variations but, much as i like planning kitchens and bathrooms, i suggest you need to confirm the overall construction, especially the roof, before finalising ideas about the internal fit out eg the yellow gable roof in my last suggestion would probably cost as much extra as the bathroom fittings and neither can be changed easily. The new kitchen cupboards would probably cost as much as the plumbing, electrican and windows but maybe the new kitchen could wait...so its' best to decide where you need to economise before you commit

We are going to have cesarstone for kitchen island bench Agree with opening from WIR behind bed. We rotate vanities to be in line with robes in WIR - we can change the robe to makeup table & drawers with chair going underneath of its bench. Please see attached sketch. By rotating vanity it looks more spacious and practical ! What is your thoughts siriuskey? Cheers

On the ground floor, I'd consider swapping the locations of the bathroom and laundry so that the occupants of the two bedrooms don't need to cross the entire rumpus room to get to the bathroom. I'm also not sure of the value of a store room which can only be accessed from outside? If the laundry is moved into that area, I'd consider making it an extra large laundry with extra storage room. On the upper floor, I'd put serious sound proofing between the toilet and the living room. I'm guessing that you're happy for the living area to essentially have no windows. It's not something that would particularly bother me, but it might bother some people. I question the practicality of having the fridge in a separate room / butler's pantry. It's something that I would find really annoying, especially if the fridge door opened to the right. It may also be a tight squeeze if any of the pantry cupboard doors are open (unless they're meant to be open shelves or having sliding doors). I'd hate to be responsible for washing up in the kitchen. I would consider getting rid of that small "bench" section, enlarging the island (to make a galley style kitchen) and moving the sink to the island. Then you can look out over the deck while washing up and there will be space on either side of the sink to pile dishes, etc. In the master, I would personally sacrifice the WIR to have an ensuite with a separate toilet, but everyone's preferences are different. Depending upon how much time you plan to spent out there, I would personally be shrinking the size of the deck to make the open plan living area bigger. It really depends upon how you live. Some people love outdoor living, but others prefer the climate controlled peace of indoors. At the moment, the deck looks like it's almost the same size as your entire open plan living area which is extremely generous. Good luck!
