So if I suggested the following could you tell me if this is going to look right. Floor tiles = keep Wall tiles = paint or replace to white? Cedar walls = keep , sand and re oil Cedar beams above shower and bath = ? Vanity = replace to a white unit with a stone/ granite top in a light colour ? Splash back behind vanity = glass white or blue tiles? Mirror = replace with a much larger one , possibly even one stretching the whole width of the wall Shower curtains = not sure ? Would it be better to have frameless glass with translucent glass between shower and bathtub? Bathtub and shower tub = paint white ? Lighting= lots of LED spots Towel rails etc = new Chrome/SS Thank you for any suggestions

Okay, here's an update. It seems that the only 'recommended' product is fibre cement sheets as they will not absorb humidity. All the other brands mentioned above didn't recommend their own product when they found out it was going in the bathroom. Scyon and Hardiegroove were the options they recommended. I found providers in Brissy but freight was in excess of $250... Bunning had them in theory, but only for full packs (20 sheets) which was more than I needed so that didn't work either, but... then they told me they also have another brand 'Duragroove' which they did stock. Katherine, I am just curious about the look of the rest of your house? For example, what look is the kitchen and external look of house. I love your bathroom, but not sure if it would match the era of my house. I am beginning to think that in bathrooms, they really only look unique and have an extra "something" when the floors aren't the typical grey, charcoal, beige........not sure what to do yet with mine...

@HU-319610855 I’m not saying this to be even the slightest bit contradictory, so please don’t take it that way. We had seperate everything. Doors, walls and divisions everywhere. We pulled it all out and went combo. We‘ve never had an issue with conflicting use, and we love the feeling of extra space and openness it created. I’m sure it all depends on your household. :-)
