What colour should I paint the wall where my peacock will hang?
Comments (38)Lovely print. I had a peacock feather print and I had a colour called glacier Grey behind. Think it was Wattyl . Again like your other walls it is a greenish grey but darker. I also had my prints on a charcoal wall..loved that too. As you said the picture ties in with the chairs and now it's not necessary to add more matching colours. I'd buy a couple of sample pots and paint large pieces of cardboard. With the other walls I would consider painting them in whisper white (Dulux) a very universal colour that ties in nicely with all colours....See MoreWhere should I install my clothesline?

Comments (12)I would build a new floor to ceiling robe where the existing robe is, extending it across to the door frame and building storage across the top of the doorway to the same depth 600 as the robe, this will give great hanging space and privacy from the living room. I would then add draws approx 450 deep facing the bed, this will give more floor space, I would have a full height wall on the entrance side of the drawers to give privacy to this space which could have a TV or shelves or artwork above these drawers. By using drawers and not full height robes it will make the bedroom feel bigger while adding extra storage. cheers...See MoreWhere should we put the toilet in this small bathroom?
Comments (65)Hi AndrewJason, I love cavity sliders. they are there when you want them but not visible when you need the space open. Having said that they cost more, take a bit of wreckage to set up and in you WA case you will be wrecking brick walls to put them in which might be a stretch of mess too far. BUT you will need to weigh up if they are worth it in the end. I do not think the build will be too bulky in the kitchen/dining because it will be superbly practical on both sides and it maybe just a matter of what you are used to. Not sure about "Average Joe...…" we are all good at somethings, mine is plans, function, practicality, solar. Yours might be brain surgery, empathy for unwell folks, kinda or you make the best seafood lasagne in the world... we are all needed to make for a great world: and it really is that!!! Good luck with your splendid home: I think it is beautiful. And PS if you do make the best seafood anything I better have your address....!!!!!!! MK...See Moreamynewberry
