Comments (13)Really good basic decorating. Now accessorise to give it some finish - an indoor plant to hide the extension cord socket, some artwork on the wall beside the lounge, a couple of cushions on the lounge and something colourful at one end of the entertainment unit - maybe a nice bowl. You can even plan a cosy throw for winter. The greens like Helenscolour used will really cheer the area up, but you could use any colours you like. This is the beauty of your basic colours, you can change the accessories to suit your moods or the seasons. Do you need some end tables at all? A lamp or lamps could go on them for some soft lighting if you wanted....See MoreOpen plan living room and dining room
Comments (2)Hello Kathy, what beautiful floors you have.....too lovely to totally cover. Seems that you can not move dining table closer to the kitchen because you have light pendant above the table, so can you move piano where your black couch is and couch on the other side of the room instead of creamy colour sofa . I notice the luck of coffee tables and side tables, that's probably why you like to sit around dining table, it is not visitors friendly and doesn't encourage conversation or interaction. I will come back to it have to study photos more. Are the arm chain the other room similar colour to the couch in the dining area?...See MoreNeed help in colour choices for whole house re do. Comments (8)I like the colours you have, it's actually a clever colour pallet, that flows nicely. Greys/cool colours are on trend now, but won't be forever, and nor are they suited to every house. I really can't see a grey against the tiles. Lots of scope to dress this up with rugs, art, plants, light fittings. That's where I'd be spending my $$....See MoreLaura Lee Designs
