You're paranoid, stick with Woodland Grey.
Monument will look sexier, more painting for you!

White or Monument windows?

Comments (26)May I suggest that you could quite quickly and affordably: 1 - paint the roller door and the white beam above it in Terrain - https://colorbond.com/colour/terrain - which will stop them drawing your eye. You may still want to put in a wooden roller door but you will get the effect quickly. 2 - replace the eyesore round light fitting at the same time with a modern one 3- left hand side - the next door dirty cream fence is also eye catching either put a fence and gate there to block it from view or just paint it a dark colour so it recedes and separates from the house. 4 - yes the roof either needs a good clean or a repaint 5 - yes the down pipe - can it be replaced by a chain style into the garden bed? Paint it dark anyway to stop it popping. It may be possible to drain it to the side gutters Love the railings - 5- the house isn’t sitting in its own space visually planting darker evergreens to left and right will help to settle it....See MoreRoof colour to match Paperbark render
Comments (5)In the photo , it looks like a bit of asphalt ( driveway presumably ? ) in the bottom right corner -- a grey , not as dark as monument . That would be the approx shade I would aim for on the tiles . The mission brown isn't too bad ( well , it is , but it doesn't stand out too badly haha ) but it will sort of blend in with the new tile colour . The present green tinge and brown windows not so much . Just me , I'd do something with that door ( and any other main door ) -- maybe a really nice natural wooden door , maybe paint the existing one a bright summery red , yellow or apricot , maybe do the column in a slate . Spend $2k or less and it will turn it from average to thought out IMO . Of course , it looks like that door is open , and it may already have a touch of class , but to me , its a relatively cheap way of adding some style ....See MoreIt all started when we needed to replace our old garage door..
Comments (12)It is all pleasant , but it is dated . Going dark may add some modern tones , but my two main concerns are the lower brown bricks , and the entrance door . While it would be more expensive , I wonder if it is worth going for a Cedar or similar garage door , and replace that whole entrance , again in cedar , maybe with glass panels either side , rather than the present right hand alignment ? That would tie in better with the bricks and add the warmth of the wood , I'd then go white or offwhite on the eves , your Woodland for the gutters , then maybe just me , but a dark charcoal or Japanese black for the window surrounds -- mainly light and a warm wood , with just a hint of dark trim and roof . I realise that introduces another colour , but it would help the brown brick , whereas against Woodland or darker it will emphasise the tone and era of the brick ( not a good thing IMO ) ....See Moreannb1997
