Hi Peta Gill! Love the space you're working with and love the style you're going for! I'd personally go with very faint greyish white (I like the look of Dulux's Lexicon Half or Lexicon Quarter). It's cool but not too cold. I understand the practicality of a fan with ceiling light, BUT they are just not the best looking solution. You can add so much style to your room with a well chosen pendant light. If you are renovating to sell buyers will be moved emotionally by the look of the amazing pendant and will fall in love.... the same level of passion does not exist for a fan in Victoria.

I have a similar dilemma... but i haven't been able to hear a price today. Does sound a bit pricey for "simple". Push (also clipsal) seems interesting too, but the wireless seemed slow in the micro-sized showroom i drove across town to see (Clipsal Powerhouse is a misleading term i think). I'm finding so little information or access to demonstration systems, that i'm really getting over chasing Clipsal. Other systems i'm looking at are Philips Dynamite, Zigbee, Z-wave, Dali... but most of these need system integrators (like C-Bus), which probably bumps up the price and flexibility.
