US lights are wired on different voltage, but I bought some pendant lights back to Aus for a friend once and she just had them re-wired. I am also running a US floor lamp on an adapter and I've had no trouble with it. Good luck!

I will go and have a look but I am interested to hear their reputation since I had never heard of them and I am worried that the doors may later warp if they haven't been dried properly. In the mean time I have found and Australian manufacturer at Mittagong I'm going check out. I don't really have the option of only buying one door since my builder has suddenly become available due to another job not being ready. Ive already waited 6 months for him ( I know he's a good builder so i was happy to wait).

Hi Sarah It’s really hard to compare as they don’t give you a price per metre. Just quote the job each time. The stone we used, Spirals in Silk finish is one of the very dearest Aurea do so it was considerably dearer than other more common brands. It has just been installed and I don’t regret the cost for a second. I absolutely love it. What swung us was the fact it was a jumbo slab so no join on our island, the silk finish (feels amazing!!) and the colour/pattern. We felt it was nicer than any other engineered stone. Good luck, get as many quotes from different stonemasons as you can. There was significant differences in prices between the companies we were getting quotes from.
