Can you please tell me who makes the range hood! Or was it a custom job? If so, would you know the stain? Thank you so much! Gorgeous kitchen!

The Hood was built by our custom cabinet maker Heber Wood Classics. The stain is called Smoke. Thanks for your interest.

Yes, but are you using the gap where rangehood was to centre, or the centre of the cook top. If you have cabinetry along the wall then you can hide the fact that the extractor fan/rangehood is not centre of the cook top. Or that is how it appears in your photos.

Hello 61karwin, I do not have a range hood just an exhaust fan. I do not do much in the way of frying, I am however rather good at 'carbon' but find with a good breeze thru from open windows that it is no problem. The fan does need cleaning every now and then but I get a tall person to assist: a young one who is happy to get onto the bench! I do not see a problem unless your home is not well vented and you like cooking hot chips! Cheers Margot

If you are looking at ceiling cassette range hoods, then ask the supplier. Walk into an actual shop and speak to the supplier and see if they have an idea on installation cost. They may even offer a supply and install option.
