I like them, there simple and not in your face leaving the cabinetry, fittings and appliances to stand out. Handles are a very personal choice and can be change in years to come to give the area a different look, " lets face it sometimes its good to have a change" and different handles can do that in time . Why don't you choose them the first time round and your husband can choose next (maybe 5-10yrs away) . They look beautiful and minimalist on this cabinetry "pure & very stylish" .

Hi Magic M new kitchens have more drawers than doors. They also have soft closers on doors and drawers, as well as full extension runners on the drawers. Your kitchen is therefore immediately showing its age because it clearly has more doors and is probably missing the other elements I mentioned that are considered standard in today's functional kitchen. So it really comes down to your budget. If you have the budget I would replace the whole kitchen with cabinets (more drawers than doors) with a shaker style profile. Custom cabinets to the ceiling. Manmade stone such as Caesarstone benchtops. You could think about the same stone on the splashback as subway tiles are on their way out. If your budget doesn't run to a new kitchen then the Annie Sloan chalk paint as suggested is a good option on both the existing cabinets and the new add on ones. I did go and view them in store and they are beautiful handles/knobs and fabulous quality. I couldn't justify the $500/each for appliance pulls when I need 4!. It was a real dilemma, I hate it when I see something I love and absolutely can't have it!! I tried some on-line vendors in the UK, and had no luck with them either. I had 52 something similar to this. I could open with little finger when hand were dirty. Mine were rounder so looked like a full stop on the edge of the cabinet rather than overwhelming the line of the cabinets.
