Really good basic decorating. Now accessorise to give it some finish - an indoor plant to hide the extension cord socket, some artwork on the wall beside the lounge, a couple of cushions on the lounge and something colourful at one end of the entertainment unit - maybe a nice bowl. You can even plan a cosy throw for winter. The greens like Helenscolour used will really cheer the area up, but you could use any colours you like. This is the beauty of your basic colours, you can change the accessories to suit your moods or the seasons. Do you need some end tables at all? A lamp or lamps could go on them for some soft lighting if you wanted.

Hi Jayrees It looks like the house is built as per the reverse image, right? Are you swapping the furniture every time you entertain? You'll know your chiropractor well. How big's your budget? If possible you could move the garage forward by at least 1/2 and that'll give you a 3x6 family room, then you can move the kitchen down to the laundry with a breakfast bar also a possible scullery to hide dishes while entertaining. Want a bigger pantry too? A bigger budget would be if you can sacrifice bedroom 2 and move the laundry into half of it with a study in the other half if you are needing 2 studies. Condolences on the garage being small with the dimensions starting with 5000, hope you don't have big vehicles. Is the entry wide enough for double doors?

At first I thought OMG what are you thinking with putting a grey kitchen in with all that beautiful wood. But I did a google search, and found the colours look good together. I would keep the floor a neutral colour and pattern. Not concrete look, not wood look, definitely not slate look. Refer to the photo below, a neutral floor with the grey kitchen, let the wood be the feature.
