Apartment kitchen renovation - Before & After
Comments (8)Beautiful. Love your white "Hamptons " style. Interesting your choice of both handles & knobs in the first after pic. The floor is stunning complimenting the cabinetry. I really like the island, looks great as a large work/dining space with out the obstruction of the sink or hot plates. Very fresh timeless. The room dividing cabinetry with above glass display very practical. Well done ✅...See MoreNew York loft style transformation - before & after

Comments (4)How come I often seem to be the desenting voice haha ? Just me personally , the graffiti or art ( to be honest , I actually thought it was a couple of $50 'Banksy' rip-off peel off wall stickers off e-bay ) I would do on long framed or frameless canvases -- that way you could change them if you wanted , or paint the walls if you wanted -- basically , more options . It also means if they are selling , it is a lot easier to change if a new owner didn't like them . The photo ( 3rd from bottom ) with the extra wall with the 2 colourful prints or paintings in white frames is way more my preference . And while I understand the rug is similar tones to the art , to me it looks too busy , and that 'trend' of bright coloured cushions that clash with the bright primary couch colour reminds me of preschools or Government Departments -- places where taste is relatively unknown . Blue and green should never be seen , and the yellow is fighting with the blue IMO . More subdued golds , mid reds and warm orange would have the same effect without the 'jarring' in my opinion . I am no expert , and taste is personal , I love colour but that seems like having bright colours just because you can , but that doesn't mean you should . . . . . . . . ....See MoreBefore & After: A front yard transformation
Comments (0)This home's front yard was in desperate need of a makeover! Alongside the customers we designed this unusual shape front yard space to be not only eye appealing but also easy to maintain throughout the year. The front yard originally was aged with an old style pavers pathway, timber retaining walls that needed replacing, worn turf that wasn't growing in some areas and gardens that needed to be refreshed. Before: Progress: We removed the old pathways and the old timber retaining walls that were falling apart. This home had 2 entries to the front of the house, we decided to design the front yard to have clarity on where these entries were, so we installed stepping paver's and a new pathway leading to the side access door, along side new gardens. Progress: Progress: (The timber sleepers retaining walls were painted a red as the customers wanted to add some colour) The completed project - We added plants to the existing gardens and added pine bark to all the garden beds. We had an electrician install outdoor lighting for along the new retaining walls and for the entry steps which we added a stepping paver for each step with natural stone coloured pebbles. For the main top section of the entry for this home we installed pebbles and artificial turf with a new pathway and stepping pavers, we also planted 2 feature trees for the main entry of this home....See MorePDL by Schneider Electric
