Gut and renovate kitchen and wet areas - floorplans
Comments (4)Hi, let me see if I can explain this and make some sense. I personally like option 2 only don't like the idea of passing through kitchen to get to bathroom. If you use the kitchen design in option 2 but put it on western wall where it is currently so when standing in kitchen you look out to the eastern view you have, you may (not knowing sizes here) have enough room to have dining table adjacent to kitchen also utilising view while dining and then have all that space for the family room through the centre. You could also add bi-folds to dining section as well as to family area. Hope that makes sense. Message back if you want more info. Also wondering if you can tell me which design program/app you are using, I have a few but am not liking them so far. Thanks, good luck....See MoreGut and renovate kitchen and wet areas - floorplans

Comments (3)For the car port I would keep it simple and open. Use a skillion colorbond roof attached to the house and timber support posts. Do you want to continue with the Tuscan theme? If so I think either go a whitish colour or a darker charcoal colour for the windows and doors. If you intend to paint the exterior walls then you open a whole other world! The front fence would look amazing out of sandstone if that is in your budget, otherwise what about a stackable stone finish which you could glue into a Hebel wall?...See MorePassive Solar Design advice for an existing house in Perth metro area.
Comments (3)I did have a look at Yourhome.gov.au and also found an interesting article at renew.org.au. All good information but I would still prefer to pay someone that specialises in the field just so I know I’m doing everything I can with the options available. Seems to be a hole in the market that I’m surprised hasn’t been filled. There must be so many people in the same boat as me....See Moretracyw123
