We are raising our house and removing the red gum timber stumps( approx 35 stumps x 1500mm high). Can anyone advise what they would be worth and who would buy that sort of thing? South East Qld
Most people who use stumps prefer concrete for the cheaper cost and durability so it is unlikely anybody would buy second-hand timber stumps for stumping their home. If they are old and second-hand you can't really guarantee how structurally sound they are, so their potential re-use is limited to non-structural applications. I would suggest eBay or gumtree and let the market tell you how much they are worth. If all else fails they would make great firewood!
