That is a hard one with those tiles. I would have to think if you did a white, it would kind of work with the colour of your tiles. At the end of the day, they do need to be replaces, but as you said, due to budgeting reasons, you cannot, I can pass on this photo of a nice bathroom with those tiles for you though for inspiration... : )

Hi there, having recently been through a similar decision process for our Reno I can really recommend ordering the Dulux A4 samples. They are made with the real paint on them so you can move them around from room to room to see exactly what it will look like without having a heap of swatches painted on the wall. They have a sticker backing but I used blu-tac so 8 could move them over and over. Good luck

Vivid White is the whitest white Dulux make (has the most titanium white) - use this colour to compare the other whites too. Use a test pot to paint an A4 white card weight paper with the Vivid White (2 coats), then paint samples of your other whites, put them next to the Vivid White sample and you will see the undertones more clearly. I use this technique with my clients and they are quite surprised by how much other colour the various whites have. It is also best to do this in the space the colour will be (your kitchen) and look at the colours in daylight and nightlight. Also at the store that you will purchase the test pots ask them to see the Dulux Fandeck and the Dulux Atlas, find the whites you are looking at sampling and you will see where they are placed on the fandeck or atlas will show what undertones they have. Even simply getting the colour cards off the colour sample wall and compare each white back to the Vivid White card.

Hi HU-648755060 A couple of questions for you. Do you have any floorplans or other details as well? A lot of people say Hampton's Style but that in itself can vary greatly between people. What you have picked out so far all sounds pretty good. I would look at a darker stain, like an espresso for the flooring. The darker automatically adds a feeling of understated luxe. I assume you are doing larger architraves, crown mouldings and skirts and these are painted white? Are you doing a grey grout on the splashback? For a more modern/industrial twist, look for a concrete finish to your kitchen benches. Remember that the concrete looks can be rather patterned so look at full slab pictures before choosing. If you go down this path I would keep all of them the same, vanities, laundry benchtops and kitchen benchtops. Otherwise you could look at a dramatic marble look such as Smartsone Blanco Molassa for the island and then a pared back white, for the other benchtops throughout the house. I hope this helps.
