Kitchen & Dining Room LIghting

Hello everyone, looking forward to some advice in relation to our Kitchen / Dining Area lighting.

We have incorporated a bar area into our Dining room (utilised a void and BIR from the Main Suite). This area will have Caesarstone Raw Concrete as the bench top, Laminex Burnished Wood (Textured) for the cabinetry and a silver mirror for the backboard. We have also extended the Alfresco area to a Grand Alfresco area, meaning there is a covered area outside the Dining room (the display home didn't have this so we are unsure whether this addition will darken the Dining Room). The living areas are open plan with lots of full length glass doors/windows so we think this will be okay.

We really love the smoked glass chandelier for the Dining Room and think it would look good with the silver mirror in the bar. It comes in 3 sizes but we are looking at the medium 6 light which measures 500mm in diameter. We really want the Dining Room area to be a feature of the living areas. We found some smoked glass pendant lights which we think would match for above the kitchen island bench and would install 3.

Another option is the more industrial looking 3 light for the Dining Room, which we would then install either 3 individual lights above the Island Bench or bar of 3.

Obviously the kitchen would still require downlights and the Dining Room may also (if using the table for a work area).

Would appreciate any feedback/ideas on these lighting choices.
