Before & After: A creative kitchen transformation

We were asked to transform this tired three bedroom family home to a more functional space with the style guide being a mix of Hamptons and Country inspired. From the pictures you can see the kitchen design has been updated to include increased storage space, display cabinets, and improved lighting.

By removing the angled bench upon entry we created a better flow and access to the kitchen while still retaining the bench and storage space. White gloss rustic edge subway tiles were used for the splash back to bring in the requested country elements paired with soft white cabinetry and cream marble benchtops.

White and beige timber look porcelain floor tiles flowed through the dining, lounge and kitchen aiding a consistency of warmth, durability with Hamptons Country feel.

The laundry required a makeover to create better use of the small space also keeping the consistency from the rest of the home. We used the same floor tiles as the bathrooms as well as the marble look bench top and white cupboard doors. We included shelving above the laundry tub to increase storage space and also cupboard space under the laundry tub.

The project is still underway and a lot of other improvements need to be made, though we are thrilled with the progress so far.
