I am putting in a large robe at one end of a bedroom. Doors are out of the budget for the moment. I was thinking of a curtain which will be next to shutters or just leaving open.
Hi Nelle, thanks for the question. Consider the depth of the wardrobe that you are building. 24" depth will prevent the hanging clothes from sticking out beyond the front of the unit. It will also give you the option of adding doors later if you like. A curtain might work. You will probably need to mount it outside of the unit for it to be able to slide along the unit. There will be upright panels inside that will block the curtain from being mounted inside. I hope this helps.
