Robin Williams made some comment about cocaine being god's way of letting you know you have too much money. Nope...this pool could be the way of saying you have too much money.

A 38mm (1 ½”) plug will probably fit this bath. 38mm plugs are actual about 41mm diameter at the bottom and 46 mm diameter at the top. The bath plugholes in our house are quite shallow so the standard 38mm plugs don’t fit properly. Our bath has 40mm plugs, which have similar diameters to the 38mm plug but are thinner. Both the standard 38mm and 40mm plugs fit all our basins. Generally, the plug size refers to the drainpipe size which is usual 1 ½”. The nearest metric dimension to this is 38mm but Europe has a 38mm system which is quite different so our 1 ½” pipes are called 40mm which actually closer to the real outer diameter. To add to confusion the outer diameter of a 40mm pipe is large than 40mm (41mm or 43mm).

think about what power points are missing in your current home and what equipment you will be using in every room...eg master bedroom ...points near the bed for lamps, electric clock or radio, electric blankets and extra points on other walls for desk lamp, computer, chargers etc, bathroom needs point for hairdryer, electric toothbrush, shavers and cleaning equipments, laundry needs points for washer, dryer, iron etc and my kitchen has 6 double power points for counter used appliances (kettle, toaster etc) plus hidden points for fridge, freezer, dishwasher, sink disposal, cabinet lighting, exhaust fan and window openers plus wired in power for built in microwave, oven and hotplate...our long hallway has two easy access points for the vacuum cleaner and we have several external power points outside for Christmas lights and electric garden tools etc)...lots of power points and very expensive to add later so well worth careful planning

by "other options" i mean that you should consider all other options for locations of fixtures..there is already plumbing along each wall so swapping the location of shower and bath or vanity isn't as challenging as if there were no original plumbing in that area and if you plan to replace the fixtures and tiles rearranging the fixtures will only be a small percentage of the budget and it's a shame to limit the final result without at least considering other options..and although there is enough space to have the vanity hard up against the wall my suggestion is to have the vanity away from the wall to make it easier to clean and also because the small nook is an ideal space for hanging a hair dryer and with the luxury of so much space it will be easier to install a vanity away from the wall
