Will the lounge, art, decor colour combo work?
Comments (3)You're going to have a lot of pale colours in there. I think something stronger on the walls, such as the artwork you've posted, will give the space some life. And I don't see any reason why you couldn't have blues and turquoises as accent colours in adjoining rooms. A blue/turquoise area rug would look good too. Don't know how others would feel, but I'd be inclined to go for something other than a white entertainment unit and coffee table; I think a darker colour would be better myself....See MoreLooking for art work/prints for Hampton Style Powder room
Comments (6)If you have a small powder room, then you don't need art work. Don't just hang art on the wall as you have a blank wall - negative space in a small room is a positive. I would consider a decorative mirror with bevelled edges to provide some visual interest, to make the space seem bigger, and which has a function. Consider wall lights to complemement the mirror, and don't go with the plain jane mirror option that most builders offer as standard. Comments (11)oh that art over lounge is old & need to replace bc sick of looking at it. also can’t change placement of the clock as there is a bracket & dont want to patch & paint the wall. The other wall in dining room will only reflect another wall so not sure but im going to buy them first and play around with them as I’m a visual person. also what colour would you recommend I go? ideally I would love to change my curtainS but can’t afford to do so. & my rug but I have an old fur baby who at times has accidents so going to wait on that for now. Was thinking of painting my antique tv unit & table white; what do you think?? Btw... chairs are brown not black....See MoreBedroom art work -unisex
Comments (8)Hi Linda, you've chosen the right colours to create a lovely restful space for your bedroom: the blue/green spectrum is the most calming. > If the wall that you would look it when propped up in bed is available, that's the wall to place your new artwork on - where you can easily admire it. > Artwork is a very personal choice but, to maintain a gender neutral (!) and meditative theme, you might like to take a look at our aura collection. This colour variation of our 'lohtse' design would work very well for you, and is available as both a stunning, shadow-casting perspex artwork as shown, or as a canvas print which I think might suit your style better. We produce all our artworks to order in dimensions to suit the space. Our treescapes are another very popular option, particularly if the room doesn't enjoy an outlook that connects you to nature - which has become all the more important for many. This colour version of 'aberfeldy' would again be a great match. Hope that helps - feel free to DM us for more info. We design and produce all our artworks right here in Australia and would love to help if our artworks resonate with you....See More- 6 years ago
