Pendant light choice would usually be for a specific purpose so if you will move things around I would have a rethink. It may be possible to have a pendant with a long lead & hooks for the cord that would allow you to move it within a reasonable distance of the connection point. Maybe some general lighting might work better e.g. or two or three directional spotlights along edges or the ridge line & on dimmers if possible. Subtle strip lighting at the top of the grey wall & the addition of a feature decorative wall hanging & potted plants would look nice too.

If I understand you correctly, the sliding doors are 'part' of the feature wall, which is to be painted navy. Therefore, the door and all of its parts should also be painted navy so that it blends into the remainder of the feature wall. Is that essentially what you are asking? If so, then bigreader and I concur: navy it is! It sounds beautiful...I hope you will post pics when it's complete...I would love to see it.

Hi Jayrees, I totally agree with what Kat had to offer, I would suggest a non geometric pattern on the rug as the floor is already geometric, a light colour and subtle pattern if you prefer a pattern. The mirror should definitely be moved and I would consider a large light print to compliment the new rug and and drapes. It's a pity that the window screen blocks the view (it's a nice view) but the heavy screen is a necessity these days, I would remove the stickers from the glass to help with the openness. Just noticed that you have an air con in the room so you may be able to remove the screen.

I’m thinking black pendant lights would compliment your colour scheme beautifully... or dare I say it, my obsession with copper pendants - they will pick up the warmth from your floors & look gorgeous :)
